The Bernhard Museum is fully outfitted in Victorian Christmas splendor which will remain on display for your viewing pleasure until the end of the year. Museum hours there are 11am to 4pm Tuesday through Sunday, excluding holidays.
The tree is decorated with reproductions of turn of the century Christmas and New Year’s postcards which can be handled by visitors to allow them to examine the hand written holiday messages from 100 years ago. The exhibits in the courthouse are on display from 10am to 4pm daily, excluding holidays.
At The Gold Country Museum in the fairgrounds, three wise miners are bedecked in Christmas cheer and marching towards their fortunes. In addition to sprightly holiday decorations we have some gold rush Christmas stories from personal journals and news papers. The Gold Country Museum is open from 11am to 4pm, Tuesday through Sunday, excluding holidays.
