All Dolled Up

On December 8th at 11:00 a.m. – despite half a foot of snow and slick, icy roads – several dolls from the Placer County Museums collection went on display in the Bernhard Museum Winery for our next exhibit: All Dolled Up. On display with the dolls are accessories such as clothing and doll house furniture. As part of the exhibit, we collected stories from community members about a memorable doll from their childhood. We invite you to view the exhibit, and perhaps share your own doll story with us.

The Bernhard Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00 – 4:00 and admission is free.

Please stop by the museum for a special screening of the exhibit during Old Town Country Christmas on Saturday, December 19th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Hot apple cider and cookies will be served. If you park in the Gold Country Fairgrounds parking lot to attend Country Christmas, the shuttle pick up and drop off is in front of the Bernhard Museum driveway.
