Rally for Women's Suffrage!

It’s 1911 and women don’t yet have the ballot.  Join us at 10:00 am on October 1^st on the grounds of the historic Courthouse in Auburn to rally for women’s suffrage!  Jennifer Montgomery, District 5 Supervisor, and Bridgette Powers, Auburn City Councilmember, will give suffrage-themed speeches.  You will also learn how residents in Placer County voted in the election that granted women’s suffrage.  Ready your boos and hisses because an anti-suffragist will get his time at the podium as well.
