Kathleen Ryan recently finished an original watercolor of Auburn’s Highland Hospital (1927-1966). She used the archive’s computer collection of historic photos to find an image suitable for her artwork. We have over 8,000 images of various Placer County people and places available in our database. They can be seen by making an appointment at the archives. The Placer County Archives and Research Center is open Monday/Tues. 9:30-3pm. 530-889-7789
