In preparation for becoming full fledged docents, this year’s group of trainees recently went on a walking tour of Old Town Auburn. The tour was led by long time volunteer Sandi Tribe and covered the unique and storied history of Auburn from its gold rush roots up to present day.
While this was a private tour for our docents in training, there is a weekly hour-long walking tour that leaves the historic courthouse at 10:00am on Saturday mornings – rain or shine. The tour is absolutely free, as is admission to all six of our museums.
